Why must I verify my identity?
Put simply, to make sure that you are you! Verification protects participants from smurfing by enforcing a one account per person policy. Additionally, this ensures both you and FirstBlood are in compliance with the applicable laws for wherever you are playing from.
What information does FirstBlood need?
In order to verify, FirstBlood may ask you for the following:
- First / Last name
- Permanent address
- Date of Birth
- Social Security Number (SSN)
- Supporting documents
I already entered my information, why are you asking again?
To protect all users, and any deposits or withdrawals from your account, FirstBlood may periodically ask you to verify your information.
My account was locked, what should I do?
For safety and security, three unsuccessful attempts at verification will trigger an account lock. This lock will prevent any deposits or withdrawals, and in some cases, prevent a user from participating in FirstBlood events until the user has contacted support and the issue is resolved.
